Ingrid Powell here with two models showing off dresses.

So I signed up to be in my first ever bridal show last weekend!  I'll be honest, I was a bit reluctant and a little nervous, as I wasn't sure if I had the proper displays or setup to be able to pull it off.  After a couple weeks of work I was a ready as I could be!  The show was hosted by the great Ingrid Powell from Formal Affairs Bridal Shop in Dunlap, IN.

The show turned out to be a huge success with over 250 attendees over Saturday and Sunday.  It was held in the grand old building Turnock Hall (112 Club) in downtown Elkhart.

Another beautiful dress by Formal Affairs!

One of the coolest things about the show were the strolling modeling of wedding dresses and bridesmaids attire.  There were a ton of various dresses and outfits being paraded around and all who were attending loved this format.

Many vendors on display including wedding cakes by Adam's Cake Shop, Martin's Catering, Formal Affairs Bridal and Tuxedo Shop, State Farm Insurance, Pro DJ Association (Ryan Powell), Corporate Classic Limousine, Hey Sisters Photography and many, many more.....

Of course the limo that was there was decked out to the max and we had to do take a few pictures with the ladies....

My photography booth displaying images and products for sale by Dave Thompson Photography

I had to include a picture of my wedding photography booth showing off my work.....

Another really amazing vendor were the Uniquely Yoga folks!  They were showing off their yoga apparel as well as putting on quite a show for everyone!  They had many different athletic yoga routines that were simply awe inspiring!

Upstairs was an entire banquet room that was decorated as a wedding reception.  All of the chairs and table settings were very elegant and classy. The head table was especially beautiful and all of the chairs were amazing....

And of course no bridal show would be complete without lots of ladies walking around modeling bridesmaids dresses and wedding gowns.  I was able to spend a few minutes with some of the girls and take some portraits.....
