It’s always so much fun meeting a new couple and witnessing the genuine love an connections they share as they are venturing along the path of marriage! Joe and Devree share such admiration and respect for each other and it definitely shows in their engagement photos.

We were able to spend time with them in St. Patrick’s County Park in South Bend at some of their favorite locations within the park!

Of course, the big blue barn in the park is awesome and we had to take a few photos there….

When we saw this long fence full of grape vines, I knew that Joe would have fun collecting a “bouquet” of grape vine leaves especially for Devree….surprise!

Oh, and the covered bridge, yea we had to shoot some photos around there too!

And the big red barn in the background…must have photo!

And last but not least, a short hike through the woods brought us to their favorite foot bridge over a creek within the count park!

{ Wetzel Family | 9.24.18 } Family Business Photos

Alissa got in touch with me asking if I would take photos to capture some memories for their family inside their family business. She told me about the family run general store in Union, MI and how it had been started 36 years ago by her father and how closely connected the whole family had become to the business. After all the years of running the store, the time had come to close the business and they asked me to capture some final memories!

I jumped at the opportunity to be involved and to be able to photograph all of them together in this store that meant so much to them!

The kids have grown up in and around this family business and it has become a big part of their lives over the years. I was amazed to hear all of the history and stories dating back to the 80’s when the store was opened. The Wetzel family spent many days and nights organizing and operating the market.

The dining table at the front of the store was the gathering place for many early mornings involving strong coffee, newspapers and visits by many in the community. In a small town like Union, Michigan, this market has become a landmark for all in the community to come for a chat and to buy their groceries!

The grand kids stole the show….these jackets were family heirlooms and worn by the owners children as they grew up in the store…now the grandkids are passing down the tradition!

The little ones had a blast running down the isles of the store and having their family photos taken…smiles on all the kids faces!

These little toddlers were a blast…so darn cute and loving!

I love being able to meet and hear the stories of all my clients….it always such a blessing to see inside their world and be able to capture it in photographs with them!

The weather was perfect for an evening photo session on the Notre Dame campus with this fun family! They had a super cute puppy that they asked if they should bring along…I said heck yes, bring him for sure!

NO!!!!! Mom snuck in a last minute kiss….oh the look on Hunter’s face….priceless!

Of course, Mom wanted pics of her son as well….and why grab a few with his girlfriend and doggy as well!

What an adorable and well behaved puppy. Such a great family companion!

The day was so amazing being able to be there with these amazing families and capture their excitement and love for Connor and Jessica on their wedding day!

Isn't Jessica's dress and head dress just amazing!

Connor and his groomsmen got their Notre Dame inspired blue and green socks all on...what a cool idea!

The ceremony at the Basilica was glorious in a setting that truly showed the faith in God that these two share together!

After the ceremony we were able to capture some great moments between these two super cool red-heads!

After the ceremony all the guests were invited over to the Gillespie Conference Center for an amazing reception. The food was excellent and all the guests helped Connor and Jessica celebrate the start of their new life together!

We had such a great time being there to document this super special wedding for Tim and Carol. The ceremony turned out just as they wanted...based on Faith in God, meaningful and genuine! The connection between them is amazing and inspiring.

The kiss....the music...the moment...all added up to tears around the sanctuary at Adamsville Road Church of God in Elkhart!

After the wedding ceremony we spent some time with the newlyweds at Hubbard Hill photographing a few shots with bride and groom enjoying each other. We caught them during a stroll down this gorgeous floral lined path and couldn't resist a few photos!

Congrats Tim and Carol...happy for you and happy we got to capture it all!

What an absolutely beautiful evening to take engagement photos for this amazing couple! We had a great time on the Notre Dame campus finding all sorts of locations to capture memories. Like this path that leads away from the Grotto on ND campus....

Since Jessica and Connor are getting married at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart at Notre Dame, we had to capture a few pics of them having fun together in front of the church!

Of course, once we found this quite park bench in front of the ND Golden Dome, we knew it would make for a great scene! This moment between Jessica and Connor captures their love and friendship perfectly!

Can't you tell how much these two are in love! Their connection and spirit is contageous and we had to capture this couple in front of the amazing woodwork and architecture that Notre Dame has to offer!

Jessica and Connors faith is powerful!

A date night wouldn't be complete without a little Lime Bike action on Saint Marys Lake!

We had a blast hanging out with Jessica and Connor, getting to know them and their stories! We can't wait to see you get married!

What an amazing and beautiful snowy winter day for these two to celebrate their new beginning together!

We first met Miranda & Cristian while doing their engagement photos and soon realized how amazing and talented people they are! While getting to know them, we learned that they both share a passion for all things music. We figured that music would probably factor into their wedding ceremony, but wow, we were blown away with how it all turned out!

Check out the hand made bouquets made out of sheets of music and the records that were used for guest signing, so amazingly cool!
